In 2016, J.D. retired from Wright of Thomasville, after 37 years of service as Plant Маnager. After retiring he stared traveling and looking for extended cousins. He found several 5th cousins in Mississippi, descendants of Jane Burleson who married William Castle Sr. and moved to Mississippi in 1834, and David Burleson who married Mary Ann Castle and moved to Mississippi. These discoveries enabled the documentation of all of Isaac Burleson Sr.’s descendants.
